No sugar - start sweating quick update on my no sugar diet
OH My Gosh.
I am now on 10 of my no sugar diet. The first week I didn't do too much sport as I had all sorts of headaches and other problems. This week I have been keeping myself busy.
But something has definitely changed. I find it disgusting when I am in spinning class and there are men dripping with sweat. The floor is wet and it makes my stomach churn. Most of my life - bar chemo - I never broke a sweat. I mean after my 10km race I was dry. After my first triathlon I was dry. My heart was pumping but that was all.
Now, after only one week of no sugar.... I have turned into the Queen of Sweat(y)ness.
Spinning on Sunday I was so wet I skidded as I got off the bike. Weight training on Tuesday my hands were so wet with sweat I could hardly do any press ups and my plank was a soaking wet flop.
Spinning again on Tuesday and OMG - I had become a sweat bucket queen from hell. The bloody water was even dripping down from my head to my nose. ARGGHHH!
However, I just read that being a sweat monster is actually a good thing. So I might not be thinner or prettier doing the no sugar plan- but so far something seems to be working.
