Kytetv
Kyte.tv is new content channel that is being launched today. It enables people to create their own personally branded channels that they can upload and enhance 24x7.

How?
Consumers can “kyte it”. Anywhere they are they can upload content about themselves and their lives in realtime from MySpace to a blog, website, mobile phone. Other content can also be dragged and dropped into the virtual space creating one’s own complete personal evangelist or voicebox space. For Mobile, kyte is linked to Blogger to make uploading photos instant.

From the press release:
Today, kyte.tv also announces that it has received funding from Atomico (co-founded by Niklas Zennstrom), Tim Draper on behalf of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Howard Hartenbaum on behalf of Draper Richards, and also from Ron Conway.

"kyte.tv is reinventing TV for a generation who spends more time in front of their computer or on their mobile phone than they do watching traditional TV. Anyone, anywhere, now has the power to broadcast live TV directly on the Internet and directly to people's mobile phones," said Tim Draper, founder of Draper Fisher Jurvetson and board member of kyte.

What we think
GoMo News likes it. There are variations on services such as this but the name is trendy and funky the website cool and the minute by minute “my life” blog sounds scary enough to work. We are living in a world of very interesting people and hopefully this kind of self expression will move the focus from celebrity culture to “god is my own temple” …. (you know what I mean..)
